Elizabeth became interested in dermatology when realizing she would have the opportunity to affect the individual’s physical health, their outward appearance and mental well-being.
As far as her care philosophy, it is rooted in patient education. She believes educating the patient about their diagnosis and involving them in the decision making about their treatment is essential. The patient needs to be informed about their care and comfortable with all the decisions made in regards to their treatment. This partnership and open dialogue with her patients is very important to her.
She also has a Masters in Public Health as well as a Masters in Physician Assistant. She thinks her Public Health degree impressed upon her the need to inform her patients about preventative measures. Many conditions we treat can be improved or avoided with just simple preventative measures.
As of October 8th, 2018 Elizabeth will be seeing patients at our new Arroyo Grande location! To book an appointment at the Arroyo Grande location please call: (805) 202-7336.
