Eliminate Unsightly Leg Veins

Both spider and varicose veins carry blood but are not part of the essential venous system that your body depends on. While these unsightly veins normally do not pose any medical problems, in the case of varicose veins, they can sometimes be quite painful.

The procedure is virtually painless. A series of simple injections are all that are needed to eradicate the veins. After first cleaning the affected area with alcohol, a micro needle with sclerosing solution is injected directly into the vein. This solution displaces the blood in the vein and causes it to turn white and gradually disappear. The solution also irritates the lining of the vein causing it to swell shut. In most cases, the treatment can be completed in our office in 15 to 20 minutes.

A Safe, Proven Treatment That Delivers Dramatic Results

This non-surgical procedure is very safe and highly effective. For more than 80 years, sclerotherapy treatment has been used successfully to eradicate these unsightly veins.

As with all medical procedures, individual results may vary. However, many of our patients experience a 70% improvement after just one treatment.

Depending on the severity of your condition, additional treatments may be required to completely eliminate the veins. On average, most veins require one or two injections and disappear in two weeks to a few months.

After the procedure, you can resume normal activity almost immediately. We ask that you wear a special compression stocking that keeps pressure on the veins, and that you refrain from vigorous movement for the first 24 hours. You may experience slight bruising in the treatment area for a week. A slight discoloration in the treatment area will eventually disappear within two to six months and in some cases up to a year, leaving you with healthy, beautiful looking legs.
