What does it mean to have an Allergy? An allergy is defined as a "harmful, increased susceptibility to a specific substance," also known as hypersensitivity. In essence, normal substances like pollen or nuts create an abnormal response to a person’s immune system causing “allergic” reactions. Nasal/hay fever, skin, food, drug and medication, and insect allergies are the most common types of allergies.

Sinusitis is a long-lasting, painful inflammation of the sinuses. Sinuses are the hollow areas around the cheek bones found around the eyes and behind the nose.

Food Allergy
Food allergies occur in individuals whose immune systems overreact to proteins in certain foods.

Eczema
One of the most common types of atopic dermatitis (inflamed skin) that patients can suffer from is Eczema.

Hives
Urticaria, also known as hives, are red, itchy, swollen areas of the skin that can vary in size and placement on the body.

Immune Dysfunction
The immune system is the part of our body that recognizes intruders.
