Mark Rosenberg, D.O.

Mark Rosenberg, D.O. completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in pre-medical studies from the University of Illinois, Urbana. He then attended graduate school at the University of Illinois where he earned his Master of Science degree in Human Anatomy. He completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Michigan State University followed by an internship in general medicine/surgery and a residency in dermatology.

His interest in dermatology developed while he was a graduate student at the University of Illinois. During that time, he was involved in research on the emerging subject of tissue regeneration. Under the direction of Anthony J. Schmidt, Ph.D., a pioneer in the field of regeneration, Dr. Rosenberg helped to develop a successful in vitro environment which sustained and promoted the regeneration of multiple organ systems.

From medical school on, the field of dermatology has held Dr. Rosenberg's most intense interest. He appreciates the way it combines the clinical, surgical and cosmetic aspects of medicine. Dr. Rosenberg specializes in all aspects of medical dermatology including skin cancer detection, surgery and treatment and is vastly experienced in the most current cosmetic procedures.
