Sheri L. Rolewski, MSN, CRNP, BC

Sheri graduated with Honors from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. Shortly after, Indiana Hospital awarded her a Graduate Scholarship to attend the University of Pittsburgh Family Nurse Practitioner Program, where she graduated with honors.

Prior to dermatology, Sheri worked as a nurse practitioner in family practice, emergency medicine, and college health. She states that she stumbled upon the specialty of dermatology by “pure luck” when she received an opportunity to participate in the opening of a university-based cosmetic surgery dermatology practice. Sheri has enjoyed working in dermatology ever since and has gained extensive training in the treatment of common skin diseases and is proficient with the pulsed dye laser (PDL) for the treatment of medical and cosmetic vascular disorders / lesions. As a family nurse practitioner in the specialty of dermatology, Sheri has the ability to assess, diagnose, manage, and prevent skin disease in her patients.

Since working in the field of skin care, Sheri has become an active member in the Dermatology Nurses Association and served as Chair of the Nurse Practitioner Forum, for the 2007 National Conference held in Arlington, Virginia. She has also authored and co-authored several publications on the specialty of dermatology and continues to work as a free lance medical writer.

In her spare time, Sheri enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys bike riding with family and watching her daughter play softball and the piano.
