Laurie Weymann has been a family nurse practitioner for over 15 years, specializing in dermatology for over 10 years. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. She received both a Master of Science in Nursing and Primary Care Nurse Specialist degrees from the University of Arizona in Tucson. Additionally, she received training in dermatology during her eleven years in practice at the University of Arizona Campus Health Center. During that time she developed a special fondness for working with young people making the difficult transition from adolescence to adulthood. She also developed a special interest in psoriasis care while Co-director of Clinical Research at the Psoriasis Research Institute with Dr. Eugene Farber.

Laurie and her husband have fallen in love with San Luis Obispo County and are interested in environmentally friendly, energy efficient architecture, organic orchardry, and the wildlife and natural beauty of California’s central coast.

She welcomes new patients of all ages for general dermatology evaluation and treatment.
