Tanya J. Foreman, M.D.

Unlike many physicians, Dr. Tanya Foreman knew which field of medicine she would pursue even before entering medical school. She became involved in skin replacement research during her undergraduate studies and found she liked the challenge of treating the skin.

Today, that challenge still fuels her interest in her work. From diagnosing and treating skin cancer to helping manage chronic conditions, Dr. Foreman intently helps patients confront a variety of skin concerns. Throughout her career, her findings have been published in several journals and books, including the Journal of the American Medical Association, Journal of Surgical Research, Surgery, Cancer Letters and Journal of Investigative Dermatology. But she most enjoys spending one-on-one time with her patients, listening to their concerns and ensuring her patients’ health needs are met.

For Dr. Foreman, one-on-one time is also critical at home, where she and her husband enjoy the delightful chaos of raising their young twins.
