Howard J. Donsky, M.D.

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dr. Donsky comes to West Dermatology with an exceptional educational background and clinical expertise. As former head of dermatology for the Toronto General Hospital and the University of Toronto Hospital, Dr. Donsky is no stranger to the importance of great skin care.

As a widely published author, Dr. Donsky has written articles on a vast array of subjects including skin cancer, nail disorders, vascular tumors, and the skin manifestations of internal malignancy. He has published articles in medical journals, cosmetic magazines, and has written and produced films on dermatology. He is also the author of the world renowned guidebook to healthy skin titled "Beauty is Skin Deep." Along with his published works, Dr. Donsky has participated in several medical studies including one that resulted in Botox® obtaining FDA approval.

With a love for learning and intellectual growth, Dr. Donsky enjoys teaching and has lectured extensively to professional organizations and on college campuses throughout the world. He served as an associate professor at the University of Toronto Medical School and the dermatologist for both the 1992 Canadian Olympic team and the British Royal family during their visit to Canada. Because of his expertise in dermatology, Dr. Donsky has also been a featured guest on various radio and television programs throughout the U.S and Canada.

In his spare time, Dr. Donsky enjoys spending time with his wife Paula and their three children, playing the guitar, and motorcycle riding.
