Kelly Chavez, PA-C

In the course of receiving his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Nebraska Medical School, Kelly Chavez realized his unique treatment style, “I like to get to know the patient by name and build a personal relationship.” It’s common for Kelly to laugh with his patients and the trust they build offers a comfortable platform to present any new concerns.  

Four years of service in the United States Navy, where he provided care for a crew of 400 on a daily basis-gave him exposure to a diverse and complex patient base.  Kelly believes the art of dermatology lies in good communication and education of patients and their families.

Kelly worked alongside well respected surgeons in New Mexico and Texas where he performed and interpreted biopsies and excisions. His experience gave him confidence to treat difficult cases with diligent attention to care.

Today, Kelly thrives in patient satisfaction and is dedicated to studying the latest innovative and technological treatments within the industry. He enjoys spending time outdoors camping, hiking, biking or skiing because “nature has a way of reminding us who and what we are supposed to be, family also has a way of doing that.”
